Myself, Ed, and Dennis riding a loop around Bishop

Notes:
We were suppose to ride down to Lone Pine but there was another wildfire in that area so instead of trying to ride and breath the air south of us, the ride leader created a new route that took us for a loop around Bishop for the day. Once finished we all road vans and a bus back up to Truckee CA or Reno NV depending on if we flew in or drove.
If you plan to take this tour, make sure you have a triple gear up front, make sure you have good tires, make sure you are physically capable of riding a few 65-75 mile days back to back, and bring clothing for all weather from 35 degrees to 95 degrees including both type of gloves and layers to peel off as the weather changes. You'll also need a handlebar or saddlebag large enough to hold the extra gloves, long sleeve layer, windbreaker, rain jacket, tubes, pump, wallet, and phone.
The tour was 64 riders + staff which is a nice size, you get to know about half the riders over the course of the trip. I was the youngest on this particular ride, while the vast majority were in their 40s and 50s. The staff is excellent and very supportive. There is a mechanic on staff the whole trip and sags the whole ride if you get into trouble or need adjustments. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner is catered by 2 people who cook everything and the meals are delicious. Beer and Soda is available for a few dollars each evening while Water/Gatorade/Snack Bars are provided free
