In May 2009 I took a tour with Adventure Cycling to cycle the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC/VA.

253.4 Miles, 20.6 hours, 20,600 ft elevation gain, and 10,485 calories expelled riding from Mt Mitchell in North Carolina to James River Visitor Center in Virginia
